The arrival of IoT(Internet of Things), especially the rapid emergence of smart wearable devices, provides technical support for detection and analysis of long-term health and motion parameters. The amount of exercise and health conditions should be quantized and evaluated by sensors, which is the guarantee for the effective exercise. Therefore, this thesis accomplished an acquisition system of health and exercise information based on IoT, to monitor the sporters’ fitness in real time.On the basis of in-depth analysis of current theories and applications of IoT in health at home and abroad, this thesis firstly studied the information acquisition theories and methods of health and motion. The temperature and status of steps can be acquired by temperature and acceleration sensors separately. Thus the health and fitness situation can be estimated. Secondly, a prototype system of health and sports information acquisition was accomplished, which consists of two parts:a terminal node and an information management system on the client, (a) The terminal node is divided into information acquisition and collection node, mainly including microcontroller module, sensor module and power supply circuit in acquisition node, and microcontroller module, serial port module and power supply circuit in collection node; (b)The information management system on the client runs on PC and mobile terminal, however, the former uses ASP.NET and SQL Server technology to design the database and the user interface, and the latter uses WeChat public platform.To sum up, this thesis mainly completed the implementation of health and sports acquisition system based on IoT. Data acquisition and wireless transmission were realized. In addition, clients can inquiry, store and manage their data and information. The system can be used for real-time detection of health and motion information. In order to achieve the purpose, the fitness can adjust their frequency and intensity of exercise independently according to health conditions.
