The third generation mobile communication technology has been widely used in China, and the increasingly fierce market competition requires operators must focus on the customer perception. Customer perception is the customer’s subjective feeling of network quality, and it is one of standards of the customer’s satisfaction on the network which affects their choice of operators. The operators could guarantee an excellent network and the market dominance only if they understand the customer perception well and resolve those network issues which are affecting customer perception in time. The scale of mobile network is expanding currently, along with the data traffic surges as well as various services arise, network optimization has been put forward higher requirements under the new situation, and the traditional testing methods can not reflect the true experiences of customers. Hence, a new optimization testing method which can be used to measure the true network experiences of customers as well as diagnose the network quality is necessary.According to the current situation of measuring the customers’ true experiences and its development, the thesis has designed and implemented a test system based on business terminals which provided a portable test method supporting the common services and can be used in most business terminals. Firstly, based on the key theory of customer perception and integrated with the actual situation of mobile communication as well as the operating characteristics on business terminals, the thesis conducted a design on the test items of customer perception and the types of events, and then established an evaluation model of multidimensional test of customer perception, and finally arise an integrated assessment method. Secondly, the thesis designed a test system of customer perception which based on business terminals, constructed an overall architecture and its database of the test system, and then analyzed the design goals in detail. Thirdly, according to the different effects, the system has been divided in to two parts: the section of function test which is based on business terminals and fusion analysis of multidimensional data on backstage, and the test algorithm and key functional modules were analyzed and implemented separately.Finally, by applying the test system to the network optimization in Shaanxi, the thesis evaluated the overall operation of the network in different cities and analyzed the related factors which affect the quality of the network after the conjunction of different data dimensions. After that, the key points were found out and the effective solutions were formulated. The system has been adopted in practical application after the test results demonstrated that it can improve the overall efficiency of network optimization.
