Currently the world has entered into the information society. The InformationIndustry, the fastest growing industry of China’s national economy. The networkarchitecture based on "Triple Networks Emergence", requires to further simplify networkcontrol functions in order to achieve the unification of platform, which calls forintelligence of the terminal, which is adopting a new generation of intelligent terminals toreplace the traditional dumb terminals, also a strong computing capacity to complete theapplication of the various communication protocols, so as to provide more and betterservice. There is a common problem in existing business terminal product that the networkfunctions is limited. The intelligent business terminals we designed, with a convenientkeyboard input capabilities and graphical user interface, reflects the characteristics ofmulti-network interface, which allows users get access to Internet through various means. All of the features such as local storage, remote management and automatic update aresupported, which lead to more convenient, more low-cost, and more functions. To achievea variety of complex functions and operations, for the requirements of stability andreal-time, the terminal uses embedded systems technology, real-time operating systemμC/OS-II, and open source network protocol stack lwIP.The subject of this paper is research and design network protocol module ofintelligent business terminal based on “Triple Networks Emergence” technology, achievesmultiple network interfaces, with the ultimate aim is to make products, including Ethernetand GPRS network interface and related applications. The intelligent terminals can beused as test platform, to laboratory in-depth and specific development requirements.
