Image Measurement introduces electrical, optical, image processing, machine vision and other disciplines in the traditional measurement, forming a more convenient, accurate, automated and efficient new measurement techniques. As a non-contact measurement method, it is a great supplement for traditional contact measurement that can solve the problems which were encountered in contact measurement, therefore, the research of image measurement technology has important significance. This paper studies two kinds of images measurement technology, the main work of this paper is as follows:First, image measurement technology is widely used in the industrial manufacturing detection especially for small parts detection. The first part of this paper, we studied the image measurement technique to detect the defects of tuning fork crystal which is used in oscillator circuit. Look for the precise corner point through Hough transform to detect target chipping. Count image histogram and determine whether the tuning fork has defects on the surface by using a reverse search method. Depending on the shape and characteristics of the edge of scratches and water droplets on the surface, we distinguish scratches and drops-liked imprint. In addition, considering the effect of speed to the measurement system, we have improved Hough transform, with multi-resolution Hough transform and block Hough transform algorithm to improve the efficiency of time and space.Second, the three-dimensional information is a objectively describe to objects in space.It has a widely used in three-dimensional reconstruction, virtual reality, robot vision, and many other aspects. The second part of this paper is to study the rapid method of human foot size measurement based on image. Look for human foot area by human skin detecting from the image in which there is a A4 paper act as a measurement reference. Find the white areas in the image, and determine the three corner points of A4 paper. We use these points to calculate the ratio of foot size and paper size with which we can calculate the real human foot size. Then this paper describes a new measurement method to calculate the foot size on the basis of the A4 paper method. Use calibrated camera to shoot two human foot pictures in a similar position and calculate the matching feature points of the two images by SURF algorithm to calculate the camera outside the parameters. Then we can calculate a map from two-dimensional image points to three-dimensional points. Finally, we calculate the three-dimensional size of human foot by the triangulation method.
