University Laboratory is the important place that carrying out quality educationand improving the students’ practical ability, as the increase of students scale, theproblems are exposed such as the uneven distribution of teaching resources, andbackward in the laboratory management. Using the information technology, promotingthe teaching reform of experiment, this gradually becomes the inevitably choice ofupgrading the experimental teaching quality and improving the level of themanagement in laboratory. The thesis combines with many problems of experimentteaching management in a university, as open laboratory management system topic,begin to carry out the research work.The design and implementation of open laboratory management system isintroduced in this thesis, the development process of the system is discussed in detailand from the links of system analysis, system design, system and testing. The system isdeveloped based on ASP.NET technology, combined with SQL Server database and inVisual Studio platform. The main functions of the system including power supplycontrol subsystem, the experiment management subsystem, equipment maintenancesubsystem. Among them, the application of allocating places by card, remote controlby power, the record track of instrument are realized by the power control function, toensure the safety and standard of laboratory management; a method of automaticcourse arrangement is provided by the function module of experiment management,and offers a platform of elective courses opened for the independent experiment ofstudents; the repair and handle of the fault in the experiment instrument are completedby the equipment repair service module, to ensure the normal development ofexperimental teaching. The three layers architecture is adopted in the open laboratorymanagement system, the system’s flexibility and expansibility is effectively improved,and the system maintenance work of later period is also reduced.。After the function test and performance test, the system is proved that indictors ofeach function meet the users’ demand. At present, the system has official onlineoperation in a university, and run in good condition. Through practical operation proved that the lab electric safety is greatly improved, and the management efficiencyis improved, and the orderly conduct of experimental teaching is ensured too; Inaddition, the use of the system will play a significant role for the aspects of advancingopen experimental teaching for the school, improving the students’ learning autonomyand improving the teaching effects of experiment, etc.
