The laboratory management system is a management system which is designed as an example of Engineering Institute laboratory management methods. This article on the use of object-oriented approach to UML(Unified Modeling Language) for the modeling language, the use of Visio modeling tools to analyze the design of a laboratory management system. Thesis from the perspective of software engineering research and development described in the system.The system consists of student login module, teacher login module, the laboratory manager login module and system administrator login module, according to the different needs of different set of features. At the same time, through the SDK's secondary development, the system integrates of the video surveillance technology and fingerprint access control technology.Both of which are more mature. By analyzing the pattern of two common software architecture—C/S and B/S, and ensuring the harmony of security and convenience in the system,The Teaching Open Laboratory Information Management System based on B/S & C/S hybrid architecture has been designed. The system includes many functions such as the appointment of online experiment, online submission of experimental reports, on-line Q & A, remote video monitoring, check history video and fingerprint access control. It does not only improve the teaching management efficiency and security of the laboratory, but also convenient for a teacher-student exchange. In the end, the system can create a favorable environment which contributes to enhance practical ability and innovative ability of the student.Thesis studied the application of systems development the main theories and key technologies, including network environment application system structure, database management system selection,.NET platform,.NET Framework outlines, ASP.NET and outlined. Under.NET platform to develop information management System's core technology-ADO.NET data access technology, also discussed the analysis and design tools and the UML. The system software is developed by the combination of programming environment of the Microsoft Visual Studio. NET 2005 and the SQL Server 2005 database system. The design language is C#. Based on the contents of these technologies, from requirements analysis to achieve a coding test, the main thesis is using the technology of asp.net which is on the.NET platform to develop a laboratory management system. Currently, the system has been tested.As a result, it run good and proved advanced and practical.
