The Design And Implementation Of Open Laboratory Management System In Higher Vocational Colleges

With the development of the computer technology, people’s daily life hasundergone great changes, information technology has penetrated into society’s variousaspects. It also has achieved successful development both in domestic andinternational’s large-scale laboratory management. However, there is still a difficulty inthe modernization of schools as a result of such factors as a low utilization rate andserious waste of laboratory, lag laboratory management, all those problems are due tosome reasons as late start in domestic schools, part of the school leader’s oboleteperception and information technology fail to or can not thoroughly apply in the fixlaboratory management. Such problems also exist in the study of laboratorymanagement in the experiental nine years compulsory education conduct by the author.It is urgent for us to develop an laboratory management platform to overcome theproblems above in order to enhance the laboratory management efficiency as well assave laboratory management expenditure.Firstly, by analyzing the domestic and international laboratory management systemfor school development process, comparing to advantages and disadvantages of variouslaboratory management information system, the system development is guided withexcellent laboratory management theory. Before the system design, Laboratorymanagement business processe was abstracted and made improvements, and thedetailed analysis of system functional and non-functional requirements was done.According to these requirements the system framework and all functional modules wasdesigned. Then the database was built in SQL Server2005through E-R chart analysisand PowerDesigner’s conceptual design. After the database implementation, Web pageprogramming accordance with the functional modules was done. Combined with writingthe database stored procedure, the system achieved finally. After the system design,conduct a comprehensive test on the system according to the software testing process. Itobtained satisfactory results.The development of this system is based on the NET tech platform, developing theuse of C#language, system design is based on B/S structure pattern, employing IISserver environment. In condition of ensuring system’s safety, achieve the managementfunction as the application for the use of laboratory, laboratory information query and add users’ information. Efficiently improve the level of laboratory management inschools thus to inject force to school modernization.
