Natural language understanding technology applied in the field of intelligent instrument design is one of the difficulties of the application of artificial intelligence technology, and it has been a hot issue in the study of Chinese grammar for a long time. Requirement analysis is the key point in Production Design, many Human-Computer Interaction are needed in it. According to different fields, build a different knowledge base. Not only use it in requirement analysis of product and Human-Computer Interaction, but also use it in Computer Aided Design, so it has a broad development prospect.Firstly, this paper introduced the current knowledge representations and semantic analysis methods in detail, and the representation method of knowledge should be a combination of the conceptual dependency theory, the frame structure andthe production rule; Secondly, this paper discussed the definition and classification of the way information, which was divided into two parts, the marked way information and the unmarked way information, according to whether there was a way information markstructure, by the way this paper introduced the characteristic of the marked way information and the semantic orientation analysis of the unmarked way information; Thirdly, this paper put forward a cluster model of way information,which was based on the domainial knowledge, then gave a model of discourse disambiguity, according to the property poles of way words; Fourthly, this paper gave the flow-process diagram of the model of discourse disambiguity, and implemented the model by using the development tools of experts system.Finally, this paper applied the natural language understanding discourse disambiguity model to the field of intelligent instrument design. It realized a good man-system communication through the comprehension and analysis of the expression of user requirements, and offered support for the follow-up design.
