In recent years, with the revolution of communication industry and the rapid growth of mobile Internet data services and broadband services, the emergence of 100GE Ethernet interface and POS interface put forward higher request to the transmission network bandwidth requirements, accompanied by the arrival of the LTE era, particularly the request to large capacity of the backbone is more urgent. Therefore, the problems of network capacity expansion have to be settled urgently, but the methods of traditional space division multiplexing and time division multiplexing have some defects and shortcomings, the emergence of WDM technology can solve these problems, and WDM technology has been developing in the direction of higher transmission capacity, longer transmission distance and lower costs.In this paper, by analyzing the present backbone transmission network and combining the development situation of 100G WDM technology, we analyze the development status and main application scenarios of WDM technology from the principle of WDM technology, we also design the transmission plat of wave division network in combination with the primary backbone project engineering at the end. The main works include the design, application, test method and results analysis of WDM system in trunk transmission network; we prove the feasibility of the scheme in the case where OSNR meets the requests. After the project is completed, we will perform an acceptance test for the systematic overall performance and issue the check out reports to ensure the system can meet the design requirements when the system becomes operational.Finally, we look into the future development trend of WDM technology, and discuss the development direction and potential applications in the actual network of future all optical networks. |
