IEEE1394 bus with its high bandwidth, good real-time performance, on the avionics system,video image data transmission system and home network system,has been widely used. Such as SONY corp. Based on IEEE1394 bus interface,realize the integration of computer, TV, audio, video, constitute a standard family network environment in 2013,it brought great improvement for people’s living quality.But the complexity structure of bus protocol and the opacity of data on a transmission line, the bus equipment fault diagnosis, safety security detection, multiple resources sharing between aircraft, has brought great difficulties, and reduces the avionics system reliability and high workability.So we need a solution to make bus work in the open, and can be controlled appropriately, to ensure bus communication system work normally, when a fault occurs in the bus, it can real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.The core work of the paper is based on the foundation of the above requirements and combined with the previously existing working, has designed a system with bus monitor and control function based on Ethernet.The main functions of the system is divided into two aspects, first of all, bus monitoring function is responsible for collecting the bus state and data through the send interface,and upload the data to the destination host through Ethernet MAC.Bus status include some of the bus events in the work process and the state of state machine, bus data contains all the protocol packet types defined in the protocol.Host side will analyze the collected bus data by the form of software, the host side can real-time observe the working process of bus, the collection data can be stored in sending interface, and it convenient for later data analysis. The function of bus control will be responsible for the bus control information is encapsulated in the Ethernet packet, the application software will send the Ethernet packets that included the control information to the network through the Ethernet MAC, And then the receiving interface will collect and analysis the information, After the control information is analyzed and it will inject into PHY of the bus control node through the test module, the node will according the different control information,and open different test control path,so as to realize the control function of the bus.The scopeof the system to control the bus, mainly depend on the degree of coverage of the test module to test the function of the bus.By the early virtual platform simulation and post-analysis of the data for a large number of monitoring results, the bus monitor and control system designed in this paper has realized the monitoring and control of the whole working process of the agreement by monitoring and controlling the physical layer of the protocol.From the monitoring data can be parsed that monitoring results has covered the part of work process of state machine of physical layer important module,and the trigger of important functions of the bus.For the physical control function,paper has realized with the physical arbitrator state machine control and PHY register access control.The purpose of FPGA implementation results meet the design expectations.But there are still many deficiencies and defects.Such as resource consumption, inadequate collection event content and inadequate controls and other defects.it can only play a supporting role in the IEEE1394 bus physical layer IP validation project.The system still far away from practical application,hence the need to constantly optimize and improve in the latter part of the work.
