With the development of digitization and informatization in the medical industry,various healthcare information system are more and more widely used in the hospital.How to communicate these heterogeneous systems that produced by different manufacturers become a problem that plagued the people. Existing medical industry standards only solves the problem of interconnection, but failed to solve the problem of interoperability.Integrating Healthcare Enterprise which is launched by RSNA and HIMSS, establishs a set of Workflow Integration Profile to guide the implementation method of the existing standards. In this way, information from different healthcare information systems can be shared.This thesis analyzed the basic theory of IHE technical framework in detail, and then discussed Scheduled Workflow Integration Profile. Based on the Scheduled Workflow Integration Profile, a medical information integration solution is setup, which relates to RIS and PACS. With the solution,by in-depth study the theory of DICOM communication transmission protocol, the thesis designed and implemented a healthcare information system,realized the workflow integration of RIS, PACS and Digital Imaging Modality.This thesis completed connectivity test among the system components and the simulation program of Digital Imaging Modality, proved interconnection and interoperability of the system.In the last of this thesis, the commercial future of above healthcare information system was discussed.
