With the continuous development of modern society and science, the role of the modern communication technology plays in human life is increasingly significant, user’requirements of the communication signal service’s quality also become higher and higher. Communication tower is an infrastructure of communication device, so its number is increasing. Now, our country has become the largest country in the mobile usage. Every year as many as 6000 communication towers are established. So we should spend more resources for the study of communication tower, in order to get the stabler structure stronger rigidity, lower overall cost communication tower. It’s also helpful for the environmental protection and saving land.This project developed an integrated communication tower. It is different form the structure and building of the traditional communication station. Traditional communication station is geological exploration and civil engineering foundation construction, the tower body and engine room is separated, the tower body itself is divided into many segments transport to the installation site.And new type of integrated communication station is to use is based on the analysis of the demand for functional design, the design of communication base station tower body and engine room is an organic whole repeatedly, the tower body itself, The tower body and engine room through folding and unfolding itself, so its operation and installation are convenient.First this paper introduces the related knowledge of communication towers, such as its basic concept, structure, development history, research status, classification and main loads. By the comparison of all kinds of conditions of the traditional base station and the integrated communication tower; we can put forward the project about the selection of the base station’s kinds. And expounds its structure characteristics’ unique advantages then the integrated communication tower’s mathematical analysis model is established. Combining with the actual data, we concrete simulate and analyze the communication tower structure by using the MATLAB software. In addition, we also complete the analysis of the structure when the tower is under the wind response. Through ANSYS software of finite element analysis was carried out on the communications tower, communication tower is analyzed the static response and the modal analysis, and the communication tower wind response of structure deformation is analyzed. After that, we summarizes some common reasons causing the failures, and as the main premise of communication tower stability, using the reliability JC algorithm for structural optimization communication tower.Finally, the issue’s main research topics and main innovations made certain summarized. Combined with some of the work, the issue also puts forward the further improvement and perfect in the future research work.
