Remote Monitoring System is an important research of the development of intelligent monitoring system. The paper presents a design solution of remote monitoring system based on STM32 and Qt, to achieve the real-time monitoring for the static parameters and dynamic scenes of remote environment via a local client platform, as well as the manipulation of the cloud devices.Based on the analysis of remote monitoring technologies, and from the view of perception layer, network layer and application layer, the paper gives a complete design scheme for remote monitoring system. The program includes the head end, the control center and the client. With STM32 controller core, supplemented by acquisition module, transmission module, and memory module, the paper builds the hardware bearing platform for cloud terminals and PTZ control center. By using popular ZigBee module for networking, the system achieves the acquisition and transmission of multi-node sensor data. And it applie a 5.8G WLAN module for remote transmission of video images. Meanwhile, this paper, based on the MVC design pattern and Qt development framework, designs a client interaction platform for the remote monitoring system, to communicate with the control center via the TCP / IP protocol and the UART protocol.In the indoor environment to test the system, the results show that the system is capable of completing the monitoring for the static parameters and dynamic scenes of monitoring environment. And it can display the data models on PC client in a customized way, with some real-time and stability.
