Nowadays, the information technology is highly developed in the fast-changing market. The enterprise managers should obtain the real-time business data, quickly analyze the resources, capital and other indicators which are the key point to quick response to these changes in the external environment. Otherwise, they can’t integrate all the resources, reduce industry costs and improve competitiveness, so can’t they get good economic and social profits.Managers of enterprises are beginning to realize the importance of historical business data for making decision. More and more enterprises begin to pay attention to the accumulation of these data, but analyzing these massive data is nearly impossible using traditional analysis methods. At the same time, with the development of e-commerce, logistics industry also began to show its importance. It is related to customer satisfaction and business operations. Also, related to the running of supply chain. The logistics management has gradually become the focus of the enterprises. The environment is full of rapid and complicated changes. In this background, in order to achieve the management goal, such as practitioners intensive, cost reduction, etc., managers should quickly grasp and analyze the logistics data to obtain important logistics indicators in time, which can help make the right business judgment, in addition, it can reduce the amount of data error and operation time which brought by manual operation.Based on the problems about data integration and analysis at present, and figure out the current factory logistics business operation, firstly analyze the data sources, then we begin to collect logistics data from each operational systems’databases to a intermediate storage ODS, through a middleware IBM WebsphereMQ. Then use ETL for data pre-processing, establishing a data warehouse. After that, construct various KPI models about logistics which are concerned by the managers of the company or the logistics supervisors. So they can easily make some logistics plan. This article will expand on the business standards and achieve an overview of how to realize this, highlighting business intelligence. Finally display and analyze the results using visual report tools--IBM Cognos, show its simplicity and convenience.
