With the promulgation and implementation of the national standards about power supply monitoring system for fire protection equipments, people gradually realized the importance of power supply monitoring system for fire system. Which has promoted the research and application of this system. The research of fire-fighting equipment power monitoring systems is helpful to reduce the incidence of fire protection equipment breakdown, timely containment building fire hazards and effectively enhance the protection of people’s lives and state property. In order to further improve the detection accuracy and the response time of fire-fighting equipment power monitoring system, in advance of the traditional monitoring systems, designed a fire equipment supply monitoring system which based on STM32 F series microcontrollers core chip, with the use of modern power electronics and advanced intelligent algorithms.This paper describes the research status of the fire-fighting equipment power monitoring systems, comparative analysis of the characteristics of the monitoring system and the direction which needs to design and improve. While using RMS method, continuity, correlation and threshold analysis method to preliminary analyze the voltage and current values. Based on the nonstability signal acquisition, by using S-transform algorithm to catch the signal feature, and to further determine and identify the fault signal, it can improve the accuracy of the monitoring. The design has simulated the acquisition of phase-phase, overload and over-voltage of the S transform by Matlab.Given the processing capability and the ultra-low-power usage, this paper uses the ARM Cortex-M core STM32 F series micro-controller as core chip. Paper describes the hardware and software design, the hardware part contains the introduction of circuit diagram about monitoring host, monitor sensors and repeater, while the software design part shows the content of monitoring sensors and monitoring host part of the module program on the basis of the program flow chart, and focuses on describing the monitoring interface design. The interface using μC/GUI software to draw out. After the determination of the contents and the coordination of the interface, the program is then translated to STM32 F chip.At last, simulate and debug this system. Using Proteus simulation for circuit schematics and using Microsoft Visual Studio software written PC, then debug the PCB board. This paper presents the process of PC drawing and its program writing. While the veneer combined into a machine, then make a commission of the whole system. The results showed that: the system can work in real-time monitoring of the status of firefighting equipment power supply, and can make the right judgments on the fault signal. It also can get a higher accuracy and a faster respond of the system, then effectively reduce the chance of the occurrence of system failure of fire-fighting equipment during it’s operation.
