In recent years, with the sustained and steady development of the insurance industry, insurance information construction achieved remarkable results, but the reserve assessment has following the traditional way, the assessment staff acquire basic data manually, and establish the reserve model with Excel tool.As the data size becomes larger and larger, the period of acquiring basic data becomes longer and longer, and the quality of basic data can not be guaranteed, it affects the process of drawing reserve, then the assessment results can not be give in time. Besides, With the fine management of insurance, the manual mode can not meet the detailed data requirements, are not up to requirements of supervision department and the internal examination. It’s in demand urgently that a perfect system of assessing reserve should be developed to ensure daily assessment work, and timely response to the need for regulatory requirements and internal Development.This paper analyzes the reserve business and process, and considering the core business systems of insurance enterprise may be implemented by different developers, and the time of constructing each system wound not be consistent, so the reserve system should contain a data warehouse, form a platform of reserve data, thus analyzing data and assessing reserve. After introducing the concept and work principle of data warehouse and MVC pattern. The paper discusses analysis and design detailed of the reserve system based on data warehouse, and introduces methods of each reserve.The system solves the problem of huge workload of checking the basic data in reserve assessment process, and the assessment staff can spend most of time on assessing reserve. Through forming the data platform, the system can support the follow-up data requirements and expansion, improve the information construction of the insurance industry.
