Research On The Core Value Of University Library And Its Ways To Achieve

Since the 1980 s, the research of library core values have been an important subject in the basic theory field of library science, research and development of library core values in our country is late, it is still not a unified content definition of library core values, establish the core values of library has important guiding role to research and practical application of the library science theory,there will be a positive and far-reaching influence for the future development of the library. As an important part of higher education, university library is the important part of the teaching and scientific research in colleges and universities. In today’s rapid development of network information technology and the special social background and historical conditions in our country, especially after the fourth plenary session of the 18 th CCCP. formally proposed the “core socialist values”, the university library should overcome various difficulties to establish its own core values, under the guidance of “core socialist values”, through a series of reform and innovation, build and improve the university library’s own core values, enhance the status, role and competitiveness of university library in the field of literature information, to achieve its service to the society,serve the ultimate goal of teaching and scientific research.Domestic and international numerous university library has been strengthened for the study of the theory of the core values and unveiled its own core values, this for the establishment of university library’s core values of our country being a good matting. With the coming of network information era, the core values of theoretical research of university library in new era have also made some achievements.In this paper, the author study of library core value theory in colleges and universities in combination with its final implementation approach, through the study on the resources of the library in colleges and universities in our country present situation and the development conditions, combined with China’s characteristics of the theory of “core socialist values”, as well as the achievements of the core values of university library at present stage, concluded that the content and scope of the core value of university library in our country. At the same time, to do this, we must build its core value system, so the construction of university library core value system of principle and the function also should not allow to ignore.University library’s core value theory research in China is faced with many problems, it will eventually have to integrate theory with practice, the core value theory must be combined to the practical work of university library, this paper discusses how to layout, rules and regulations, through collection ways of information service and so on a series of methods to realize the value of the library in the end, hoping to finally established to solve some problems of university library’s core value and confusion, let libraries can get more sustainable, stable and healthy development.
