As a new type of wireless network technology, wireless mesh network(WMN) has good application prospects, which combines the advantages of wireless local area networks(WLAN) and mobile Ad hoc networks. Nowadays, the research on WMN routing protocol has become the most hot issue. In the network environment where terminal node has a certain speed, Mesh network topology changes so frequently that link failure may occurred easily, which can result in lengthening of transmission and higher rate of packet loss. In order to improve the transmission reliability of network and realize the load balancing, a multi-path routing algorithm S-AOMDVjr (Link State Aware-AOMDV Junior) based on link-state-aware was put forward. The S-AOMDVjr showed the highest transmission reliability, both in the simulation and real networking test that takes electric cars as the carriers of Mesh node. The main contents of the research are as follows:1) After large numbers of studies on structural characteristics and routing protocols of WMN, this paper has a analysis and summary of its current research situation and finally put forward the S-AOMDVjr routing algorithms. Based on Ad hoc On-Demand Multi-Path Distance Vector Routing (AOMDV), the S-AOMDVjr makes some improvements by adopting Route Metric Based on Link State (RMLS) as the routing criteria, which can make an overall consideration of the influences of link quality and node load to the path. During route discovery, the S-AOMDVjr only producing the path that is not related to nodes, thus reducing the interference between links and improving transmission reliability.2) Using NS2 as the simulation platform, taking the multi-path routing algorithm AOMDV and single-path routing algorithm S-AOMDVjr as objects, we compared them in aspects of end-to-end delay, packet delivery rate and route discovery frequency respectively. Finally, comprehensive results show that S-AOMDVjr has a better network performance.3) In order to test the practical application of the algorithm, electric vehicle networking experiment based on the WMN was carried out, by taking electric vehicle as the carrier of Mesh mobile terminal and relying on group resources on telematics. Measurements show that the S-AOMDVjr can provide more reliable service, meeting the basic needs of electric vehicle network.
