With the application of wireless sensor networks(WSN) in every field of societysuch as human life, education and so on, it has played more and more important roleand it has become the focus by many researchers.WSN can be applied to someextreme, bad, dangerous environment and situations so that we can moniter and traceof the target anytime. The nodes will always find the optimal path. If the trafficincreases suddenly, many nodes maybe die because of energy consumption while theother nodes are never been used making find routing again, which reduces theperformance of the network. This paper focuses on how to use routing policy so thatmore and more nodes has chance to share the task of data transmission, which canimprove the whle life of wireless sensor network. Data transmission will not limit toone static path, making node avoid dying. This paper proposes a multipath routing based on AOMDV protocol calledRED-AOMDV protocol. Traditional Time delay is only to be considered in theselection of transmission path of traditional AOMDV protocol. It switch to otherbackup paths until the node on the transmission path is dead, which making somelocal nodes in the network is dead early or leading the entire network dividing intomany small networks. RED-AOMDV protocol considers the energy and time delay ofevery node, which balancing the existing multipath forwarding data. RED-AOMDVchanges some existing structure, adds the energy and time delay fields. Finally, thesimulation experiment shows that the RED-AOMDV extents the life of network thanAOMDV.This paper designs a new protocol called PEAMR based on ant colonyoptimization. The new protocol adopts the new path generating mechanism thatincreases the paths from source node to destination node. In addition, it changes thetraditional mode of updating pheromone, take into counts of various factors. Morenodes join the task of transmission data on the condition of the optimal path, whichrealizes the loading balance of network. According to a concrete instance, it makesintroduction the details of multipath routing mechanism process of PEAMR. At last, through the experiment on NS2, PEAMR protocol extents the life of network, improve the packet delivery rate and reduces the data transmitting delay.
