| Wireless sensor network is a network system composed of a large number of sensor nodes with low power, low cost, small volume and computing and networking capability. The nodes can timely identify, collect, monitor the information in a given region and report this information to relevant users. The node’s energy is limited, so the routing protocols are required to use resources as efficiently as possible. Due to the large number of wireless sensor nodes, nodes can only obtain the topology information within the limited scope, so the routing protocols must effectively choose the right path. Firstly, in order to analyze the performance of the routing protocols in wireless sensor networks, this paper simulates AODV and DSR protocols; Secondly, based on the analysis of AODV, this paper proposes a 6Lo WPAN single-path routing algorithm based on IEEE802.15.4. In this algorithm, the routing process is achieved in the link layer. Compared with the traditional routing protocols, this algorithm reduces the routing establishment delay and the encapsulation and decapsulation latency, and also reduces the energy consumption of nodes. Because the single path routing algorithm only establishes one path during one routing discovery, this paper proposes a multi-path routing algorithm. This algorithm reduces the routing cost and the energy consumption of nodes. Finally, the application of 6Lo WPAN wireless sensor network in the healthcare is disscussed. This paper introduces the basic concepts on wireless sensor network, 6Lo WPAN network, AODV protocol and DSR protocol, and discusses the application of wireless sensor networks. Based on the analysis of the traditional routing protocols, this paper proposes the 6Lo WPAN routing algorithms based on IEEE802.15.4 and evaluates these algorithms. The data results show that the proposed 6Lo WPAN routing protocol based on IEEE802.15.4 improves the performance of transmission delay, energy consumption and routing cost. |
