Since the 20 th century, Static has been widely used in industry, agriculture and family life, such as electrostatic painting, electrostatic dust removal, electrostatic fume removal, electrostatic spraying and the like. Even the production of some wine, sauce and vinegar needs high voltage static in order to make the favor tastier. To make the high voltage static can function in that kinds of field, there must be high voltage static supply. So the summary and analysis of existing high voltage supply have been made in this paper first. Then, This paper aimed at designing a kind of low capacity and small-scale high voltage electrostatic supply which combining the switching power supply, boost principle and other related knowledge after summarized lots of characteristics. This supply will mainly serve electrostatic spraying.After some analysis, it was clear that the key attribute of a high voltage static supply was how much the size of the output voltage it could reach and can be controlled by user. So in order to be entitled to a qualified supply, the output voltage value of the high voltage electrostatic supply in the paper must be controllable. In addition, the value can be read by user and its dynamic curve of voltage can be shown on the screen so that the state of changes can be observed easily and user can adjust the appropriate value according to the dynamic curve. So the performance index of the supply can be given: 220V/AC input, 1~30k V/DC controllable output; its precision is 1k V; the value and curve can be expressed by the LCD. There is protection potentiometer which can ensure the safe of the load.According to the characteristics of high voltage electrostatic supply and the functions needed in kinds of field, the high voltage electrostatic supply was overall designed in this paper at first. And then, every component and module was analyzed and selected appropriately. In order to make the high voltage supply functioned as expected and minimize the cost, following choices were made: STC12C5A60S2 was chosen as the MCU; IR2153 was selected as the voltage lifting half bridge driver; the current transformer could meet the feedback from output so that the output information can be reflected, so that the MCU can make steps to reply the output. Protection potentiometer can also work by the feedback information; human-computer interaction could be met through the LCD screen and knobs; finally, watchdog program was added in order to make the system operating more steadily. The program error can be relative avoided.In the aspect of hardware design, the paper portrayed the principle diagram of control system including power module, MCU minimum system, half driver module, current transformer module and human-computer interaction module. After above, each component was arranged on PCB board.In the aspect of software design, firstly the paper described the procedure flow chart of the whole system. And then, the paper analyzed and designed each subprogram.At last, the paper simply described the knowledge of the security of high voltage manipulation allowing for testing safely and smoothly. It also provided double insurance for security.
