Design And Development Of A Primary School English Mobile Learning System Based On Android

Since the rapid development of information technology and network technology,in nowadays, mobile terminal equipment constantly get rid of the stale and bring forth the fresh.All aspects of our daily life are unconsciously influenced by new technologies step by step, which become indispensable tool in life.Along with the maturing of mobile technology, it integrates more and more with education. A new learning mode of mobile learning is developed under this background.This learning mode is a breakthrough in the traditional limits of learning,like time, place, place, and conditions.Under the help of the network technology, the learner can achieve any desired learning information at any time and any place.This new learning mode is booming development with its unique advantages.In this paper, we chose the Android system as research object. Although it was published just several years before in 2008, its unique advantages have attract a growing number of developers into the Android product.Until now, the market in mobile terminal equipment be occupied by Android system become the biggest part.English is currently the world’s most widely used language. The relevant provisions of Ministry of Education proposed that,the promotion of English learning in the primary school should be a step-by-step.Under the circumstance of information technology integrates with education, today, a growth number of developers put English learning into mobile learning products, which breaks the limit of English learning in classroom. Students can study whenever they want, which make the English learning be mobile. Nowadays,mobile English learning has become an important way to learn English.Under this background, this paper going to carry out research with primary school English learning. By the guidance of mobile learning theory and other relevant theories, we develop a English learning systems for primary school students on Android platform. The learning system is developed on the example of Yuelu District Experimental Primary School’s school-based curriculum in the first grade, volume two, first lesson. The design, analysis, development and test are all included in this research.
