The Design And Implementation Of Regional Public Health Information Management System For Qujing

With the popularization of information technology, public health information management has great development, now there are many information management systems which work for disease surveillance and health supervision. But the information technology degree of basic public health management in Qujing City is not high. The existing management system has many problems, like poor usability and data interface standards are not uniform and, and gradually can not meet the needs of basic public health services in Qujing.. With the increase in residents filing, the amount of system data is increasing, so processing basic public health services by advanced information technologies has become one of the main directions of public health management reform in Qujing City. Therefore, it is necessary to design and implement a regional public health information management system to face the needs of basic public health services in Qujing City, thus improving the level and efficiency of regional public health information management in Qujing City.According to the specific requirements of basic public health services in Qujing City, the system was designed by using the currently advanced J2EE framework B/S mode, the system architecture was divided into four levels, client side, Web servers, application servers and database servers. Web server mainly used Struts framework to achieve the view section and the control section of MVC model; business layer was achieved by the Spring framework. The system selected the Oracle lOg database which can support large data storage and access for the database design.The Qujing regional public health information management system achieved seven major business modules, including personnel basic information management, child health management, maternal health care management, chronic disease management, illness management, health supervision management, and statistics and analysis. Personnel basic information management module implemented management of basic information, family file and healthy record; child health management module implemented the management of neonatal care manual, child health check and newborn health examination, etc.; maternal health care management module achieved management of maternal health manual, prenatal and postnatal visit record and health check; chronic disease management module implemented the management of chronic patient file and follow-up record of patients of various diseases; illness management module achieved the management of psychopath file and follow-up record of psychiatric patients; health supervision management module achieved the management of report registration and inspection registration; statistics and analysis module was mainly used to view and print statistics of periods of time setting and progress of health record of medical institutions in the jurisdiction areas.The establishment and use of Qujing regional public health information management system achieved modern management of basic public health services in Qujing, allowed users conveniently and efficiently managing all types of file information, thus improving the efficiency of managers.
