Nowadays, the trunking communication system develops rapidly, special wireless dispatching communication. Because of its specificity, there is a big problem makes the system compatibility and interoperability, and can’t meet the needs of users in some ways. Along with the improvement of the digital trunking mobile communication network’s construction, especially the emergence of digital trunking communication standard that meet China’s national conditions and with independent intellectual property rights such as Professional Digital Trunking (PDT), solve the problem of communication between every manufacturers’system and backward compatibility issues to simulation system to a large extent. So, it’s of great significance to research each standard of digital clustering protocols and the mutual compatibility of systems.These paper details the design of PDT digital trunking base station subsystem, and implements the parsing between PDT and Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA)Firstly, these paper analyzes the development status and application prospects at home and abroad, mainly introduces the related technologies, including the PDT digital trunking system, and the system’s overall architecture, as well as the MFC. That lay a foundation for the development of this system.Secondly, these paper designs the PDT base station’s subsystem, including Base Station Receiver (BSR) and Base Station Controller (BSC). The function of BSC is the realization of the interaction TETRA message with PDT signal, and the function of BSR is receiving and transmitting PDT signal.After then, on the basis of ETRA platform, these paper simulates PDT software-protocol-subsystem to achieve some functions, such as registration and single call. It compares data to verify the correctness of the analytic of the subsystem. The data includes data that got by analysis software pdtAnalyser, displayed on the system logs on SecureCRT and displayed on system that simulates PDT system with MFC.
