The Design And Implementation Of The University Network-based Education Entrance Examination System

In the information age, the rapid development of Internet technology resulted in a significant effect on education. Then, many colleges and universities provide network-based education for people to have a better education conveniently.In recent years, the level of competition about students among universities are increasing. Regardless of the intense competition, most of the colleges still arrange the entrance examination of network-based education in the traditional way:First, students should apply in the learning centers which are corporate with the college; then, student need to attend the entrance examination organised by learning center in accordance with the requirements of the college. The existence of this traditional way of entrance examination have many drawbacks:First, learning center have the right to arrange entrance examination just when the registration number of students reach a certain amount. Otherwise, students will not be able to participate in entrance examinations normally, which will resulte in the loss of students. Second, the learning centers can not cover each city of the coutry. Futhermore, the traditional way of making the enrollment of the network-based education could not overcome geographical barriers completely. Third, people who apply for the network-based education are mostly office workers, their free time are difficult to reconcile. Althoug the entrance examination scheduled for the weekend, some candidates still can not take the exam properly for some reasons.Considering the status quo and disadvantages of the network-based education entrance examination, this paper examined how to use the computer technology to improve the management of the network-based education, how to enhance the flexibility and effectiveness of the network-based education entrance examination, how to enhance the competitive strength of the college network-based education. This paper focuses on the design and implementation of network education college entrance examination system, trying to replace the traditional entrance examination work with network-based entrance examination system, eliminating the drawbacks of the university network-based education. Through in-depth understanding of the entrance examination system demand conditions, this paper have a preliminary design and continuous testing on it, then lead a great change of the network-based education work environment.
