Research And Design Of Distance Education Entrance Examination System

With the increase of Distance Education College in China, the recruitment of student market competitions among these colleges is becoming fierce under the limited student source conditions. As for student recruitment of Distance Education College, it organizes self-made exams by the recruitment universities. While, the traditional process for students is to sign up before the exam. Generally speaking, students will go to the designated recruitment unit to sign up first, then attend exams according to the arranged time by recruitment unit later. However, for most office worker students, this pattern lacks flexibility and these students may not be able to attend the exam in the specified time due to time conflicts, making school lose part of students sources in the end. Thus, according to the characteristics of remote enrollment exam, an integration of registration and exam for distance education entrance exam system is developed so as to make students attend exams freely. Besides, it not only makes up for the defects of traditional recruitment exam but also simplifies the recruitment process.The thesis introduces the design and implement process of entrance exam system including the technology development, system structure, database design and main function module. Most importantly, it is to study and solve the following three problems:1. The dynamic automatic test paper compositionAccording to the characteristics of this system for real-time test paper composition, the thesis has studied and realized an efficient and high-random dynamic automatic test paper composition program.2. Design the student identity verification and test monitoring based on imagesBy making use of Open CV and PCA algorithm to get student identity card information with computer camera and handle image information processing, it has solved identity authentication of students registration and monitoring problems during the exam.3. Security problems of the exam systemAs for all kinds of cheating behaviors in the exam, it makes corresponding prevention measures like dynamic password realization and IP address monitoring.From the function and performance, the entrance exam system can meet the needs of Distance Education College recruitment. As a matter of fact, simplification of students recruitment exam process has realized the integration of registration and exam. In brief, it has a very good application prospect. At present, the system has practically applied in the recruitment exams of Distance Education College from Beijing Jiaotong University and achieved good results.
