Internet, known as the mankind’s greatest invention, has exerted an immeasurable influence on human’s learning, life and work, and even has changed the course of human and social development since it was born. The rapid development of the Internet creates a continuous growth of netizens, and thus leads to a rapid expansion of social public sentiment. With in-depth study of theoretical research, Internet public sentiment has become a new cross field research hotspot, including a series of disciplines like journalism, communication, sociology, political science, statistics and so on. Internet public sentiment represents the public opinion of network and affects the real public opinion. It not only reflects the social facts, but also shapes realistic public opinion distribution center and social field of human action. With deep and continued influence on political life from network, Internet anti-corruption has become an edge tool for the public to fight corruption. Internet users use the micro blogging, forums and other new media to point out problems and participate political affairs, therefore, Internet public sentiment involving corruption comes into vogue. After 18th CPC National Congress, Chinese anti-corruption efforts unprecedented increase, and incidents involved in corruption across the country emerge in an endless stream, moreover, investigation and punishment for corruption becomes rare in the world. Internet public sentiment involved in corruption also becomes a rendezvous of public political opinion and anti-corruption emotion to some extent, a perspective focus of media political participation and public opinion, and also a real basis for the government to understand public opinion and make public policy. This paper takes events involved in corruption after 18th CPC National Congress as a start point and bases quantitative analysis on 40 hot cases involved in corruption in society. It judges occurrence and development and deeply analysis characteristics and real problems of Internet public sentiment involving corruption. On the basis of this, the article proposes disposal strategies and coping mechanisms in order to provide ideas for the government to make benign interaction with media and the public about anti-corruption.
