Because of long-term high current or aging itself, electrical equipment may work overheating in the industrial site and cause electrical accident. And electrical power accidents are generally serious, such as fire, widespread blackouts, which may cause significant economic losses and serious social impact. So a temperature monitoring system needs to be developed.This thesis mainly has designed and implemented the PC communication interface of temperature monitoring system, and tested the performance of communication interface. The main contents of the researches and results are as follows:Firstly, the paper has analysised the temperature monitoring system, including the selection of PC communication function and communications solutions, etc. In this paper, the key technologies of PC communication interface of the system have been researched, which can ensure the PC on the communication interface with a standard API interface and the form of DLL dynamic link library, so that the development applications can meet the versatility and portability. A dynamic link library has been created by VS6.0, library functions in a multithreaded mode by using winsock library function to complete the Ethernet communication. The communication protocol is based on Modbus/TCP, and on this basis to realize the identification, correction time with the Network, real-time data transmission, batch history data transmission, equipment information synchronization and general Modbus interface function module, etc. Finally, the PC platform has been designed based on the.NET framework of C# language, according to call the wapper DLL to communicate with slave and realize the performance test of PC communication interface. Test results have showed that the PC and slave could communicate and connect with each other normality, and each function of the PC communication interface can also operate normally and stably, meet the requirements of the design.
