| All the communication manufactures expedite their research and development when the 3rd Generation managing license is coming. But the quality of the products is exposed in questions. And how to impove the quality becomes more and more important.It' s a feasible way to ensuring the process of the products development by using special testing tools, which can effectively cut down the errors, faults and failures in the development. The dissertation just researchs and implements an automated test platform for 3G. The platform is a large project for XXX company in special testing tools. The aim of this Automated Test Platform for 3G is that realize test of network of 3G . It can execute test automatically , reduce the personnels who is used to test network of 3G , and improve the efficiency and effect. Some important contents are summarized below:Firstly, the paper briefly introduces the developing history in mobile communications and technical status of 3G.Secondly, the paper narrates some important knowledge and principle which provide the foundation for developing the platform, such as hierarchical structure of computer network, ethernet network, TCP/IP protocols etc.Thirdly, the paper deeply explores the process of requirement, development and implement in the 3G Automated Test Platform, which includes detailed implement in every subsystem.At the last, the paper shows the test result about the Automated Test Platform for 3G, analyzes the data in some tests, and bring forward some questions that need be improved. In the project, the work completed by the author is as follows.1. Coding and test of the data processing module.2. Part of the summary design, detail design, coding and test of the communication interface module.3. Summary design, detail design, coding and test of the test tool—AttenProg module.4. Summary design, detail design, coding and test of the test tool—CS Dialer System module with the other colleague.5. Integration test of system with his colleagues. |
