With the development of Internet and multimedia technology, information technology become more and more important in the classroom teaching. The purpose of this paper is to analyse and develop a newly muti-media classroom teaching system only for teachers in classroom.At first, the paper introduced the existing multimedia software situation and their advantage and disadvantage. And also analysed teachers'demand in the classroom teaching. Based on it, we have designed a new making and playing multimedia system that will be used by teacher.This paper explains in detail the principal technique how to implement this system, we discussed the following questions: including dynamically memory block allocation ,video and audio capture of the screen, video codec,video media compress technique, standards of video encoding and a general process of gathering multimedia information , to merge (interleave) an audio file with a video file.The function of video capture is implemented by VFW SDK.With the use of multithreading and double buffering, it will improve the response and the stability of the system. Double buffering uses a memory buffer to address the flicker problems associated with multiple paint operations. All paint operations are first rendered to a memory buffer instead of the drawing surface on the screen. The image flickering associated with complex painting operations is eliminated.Proposes the database communication platform module that based on using TCP/ IP and the FTP as network transmission mode. And implement it with Winsock technique . The development of this system is based on Visual C++ and database SQL Server 2000.
