With the development of radio technology application and frequency resources nervous, more and more high frequency of frequency source, implementation has become increasingly difficult. The frequency source is one of the key parts of high performance radio system, performance implementation of many radio system are directly or indirectly dependent on the frequency source, for the frequency of the source spectral purity, accuracy, frequency resolution and conversion time indicators put forward higher requirements, promote the development of the technology of frequency source.X band frequency source is designed in this paper, using PLL frequency synthesis technology with dual frequency synthesizer as the core. First introduced the research background and the frequency synthesis technology at home and abroad; secondly, the principle of phase lock loop and phase-locked loop performance; combined with the technical requirements of the project, the project plan and main chip, analyses the technical parameters of the power project, hardware circuit and control software design of the frequency source; finally analyzed the electromagnetic compatibility frequency source, realization of Engineering applications.
