Design And Implementation Of Library Management System In Nanjing College Of Chemical Technology

The school library which has a rich literature information resource is an important part of school information system. The work of library management in the school is the most important part of the management, related to the student management, library management, administrator management etc. The traditional manual management has been unable to meet the needs of the readers; it is urgently to build a web-based library management system for obtaining information of the school.Based on the developing Nanjing College of Chemical Technology library management system, by using the ideas of object-oriented modeling design, the Unified Modeling Language(UML), and a variety of modeling tools to the actual situation of our school library management system, This literature developed a framework and functional diagram library management system and realized the modeling system.The main works of this literature is based on using UML to analysis and design the system through the steps of case modeling and physical modeling, set up a class parts diagram, etc., and build the systematic modeling from many perspectives by UML. Designing library management system which meets the actual needs of our schools students by using the object programming language C# as a front-end development and using SQL Server 2000 as back-end database. The system includes two modules:the student module and manager system can effectively reduce the book management work pressure, reduce man-made errors and improve work efficiency.
