Design And Implementation Of Library Management System In College

With the rapid development of the Internet technology and the wide-spread useofcomputers,each institute of higer learning has adopted the Internet and thedistributed technology in building their own campus network for informationdistribution and data sharing.The construction and development of librarymanagement systems in institutes are an important indicator of their infrastructurelevel.With the help of the campus network,instiututes manage ment are developingfrom the manual management towards automation.Therefore,theresearch andrealization of a library management system becomes an important part of institutes ofhigher learming.Recently, computer science is widely used in information management. Basedon the thorough research into the current library management system of Institute oftechnology,It is more efficient to manage information in computer which spareamount of labor and material resources. Ever before,the librarian deal with thesituation of readings manually. For the marvelous information, this work appearsmess and confusing. Furthermore, it is a big job with high error rate and difficult tocorrect. Focusing on these problems, we develop this system. It is a digital office toolof information management in the library of colleges which change the situation andimprove the level of management in library.This system combines the program of information management in the library ofcolleges with network technique, database technique, MIS software developmenttechnique. This issue analyses the necessary of database system entirely, and then weensure the construction of it. The key point is the database whose regulation of design is based on necessary analysis. According to the result of necessary analysis,we start to design particularly, including system construction, function module anddatabase. Eventually, a system of library management in college based on C#isrealized and passes the system test.In this system we apply object oriented programming method and the3Fstructure of B／Sand the NET frame，and use C#programming language and SQLsever2000database management system to establish the system of librarymanagement of Institute of Technology that has been guaranteed by checkingfunction module and safety desig, The development of this system has laid goodfoundation for the improvement of future library management system．After test operation, we come to a conclusion: the system takes on excellentman-machine interface, the agile way to input, an easy way to browse informationand query. Furthermore, it settles many factual problems well and realizesstandardization, paperless, intelligent. The system reduces the librarians’ work, saveslabor and material, enhance the efficiency and quality of management largely.This article exerts distributed technique through original language operationavoiding internet data conflict. Using socket technique of C#program languagerealizes the underlying communication network.
