Researches On Design And Realization Of C#-based RSS News Reader

With the development of the network times, people in this busy society obtaining a large amount of the latest social information through internet has become an indispensable part of people’s lives. But each site can not present all the information simultaneously and fully to give each user every satisfaction of the different social requirements, which will inevitably be inconvenient to the user because they have to read the latest news through clicking and accessing a lot of covering websites. RSS news reader system can let the readers browse easily all kinds of concerned news website according to personal taste, go over the latest news effectively and grasp the latest information. It can keep the readers away from the complicated operations when they enter different websites, and improve the news reading quality, save a lot of valuable time, and improve their working efficiency.This paper analyzes the relative technology of RSS and finishes the overall process of designing RSS News Reader on the basis of C#. It firstly introduces the background and meaning of this research and the research status about RSS at home and abroad, and puts forward the major research work and basic framework. And then introduce the relative technological background about RSS and ADO.NET, C# and Graphic Design Development Tool used in the system design. Based on the above premise and technology, this paper emphases on the requirement analysis of RSS news reader system, carries out the overall design and module design of the system, describes the process of realizing the major function modules of RSS news reader which are news reading module, channel management module and configuration module and analyzes and studies the difficult points of the system. In order to let the system run smoothly, it enters test link. During the course of test, it uses Case Testing. In the end, the result of the test is passed and the system can be used normally. This news system realizes the following major function:it can show the latest news information in the relative websites, carry out the news reading, realize the operation of looking into, adding newly, amending and deleting the channel and system settings which are the automatic renewal of the channel, the proxy server and the language choice within the specified time. Finally, it summarizes the whole paper and puts forward the improvement of the project in the future.Through my illustrating the overall process of designing RSS News Reader, this news reader will present the information in each big website to the users or the users can look through the latest current events in the relative websites real-timely and effectively according to their personal taste by custom channels so that they can grasp the current events quickly. Thus, the implementation of news reader adapts to the trend of social development.
