The Design And Research Of Teaching Material Management System Based On Web

The Colleges and universities as a centre of teaching information resource, have different disciplines with different teaching content. Thus, they have many kinds and a large quantities of learning materials. The management work of teaching material touches a lot of people, and the workload is huge. Especially in recent years, the enrollment ratio of Chinese high education is increasing, and the number of college students increases rapidly, making management of teaching materials face greater pressure. Therefore, the effective management of teaching materials is getting more and more important.In the past, manual mode is used in management of teaching materials in colleges. The work such as teaching materials putting in-out warehouse and registering for assigning book, not only takes more time and laborious, but also has many manual calculation mistakes. Therefore, getting rid of the traditional manual management mode, accelerating the process of modernization teaching management, and the informationization management to the teaching materials is the urgent needs of today’s colleges and universities.At present, some schools have adopted information management technology, but there are still some problems in design, which need further improvement.This thesis studies current situation of management of teaching materials in colleges and universities, aiming at designing a system which named "The design and research of teaching material management system based on Web". It not only can improve the efficiency of management of teaching materials, but also providing a humanized service for different customer groups, to meet the different needs of various students and teachers.This system is designed based on B/S mode structure, and.Net technology platform, using C# as the development language and SQL Server 2000 as the database development system. After testing, the system meets the various needs for management work and run effectively. It improves work efficiency, and achieves the expected design requirements with good usability.
