The wild environment based data is the foundation of cold and arid regions related research, mainly rely on artificial monitoring method for a long time. In order to obtain the permafrost related feature information, need to carry on the real-time detection monitoring. That enables researchers to get the characteristic parameters of frozen soil paramenters changes anytime, and to provide the data support for the further research on permafrost. In view of the number of monitoring point is more, the actual wiring difficulty and the high cost of wiring problem, the article design and implement a distributed monitoring system based on WSN.This paper will focus on the communication protocol of WSN distributed monitoring system to carry on the design. Starting from the actual requirements of the system, this article introduces the structure of WSN distributed monitoring system and the basic function of the system and emphatically analyzed the distributed communication characteristics of each part, and the communication between each part needs, and how to complete a large amount of data in the system information transmission reliably and efficiently will is the core in this paper. The system communication protocol in this paper will use ASCII coding way, in the form of master-slave communication, according to the demand of the system communication function analysis and design the corresponding command, and the command response.WSN distributed monitoring system consists of a wireless sensor network (WSN), the Android gateway, and server monitoring center, and wireless sensor networks including gathering node, terminal nodes, routing nodes, wireless sensor network (WSN) will be responsible for the data acquisition function, at the same time, all the nodes will complete The monitoring task at a relatively low power consumption for a long time;Android gateway as a branch centre of distributed monitoring system,play on a bridge role in network communication, via a serial port of the bluetooth module and sensor network for data transmission, at the same time use the 3G network. To report the data that storted in XML format data via FTP to the monitoring center, mainly responsible for clock synchronization, task scheduling, node management, data storage, data reporting, and other functions;Monitoring center will complete the data sorting, storage, retrieval and analysis.To test the protocol after completion the communication protocol designer, according to the test content complete conformance testing, performance testing and stability test and related test, and record test results, and altering errors in the actual test timely. Actual operation shows.The high degree of match between the design of protocol and system, can very good to complete the basic function of the system, to ensure the system can work steadily and normally.
