Influence Of Western Archives Science On Chinese Modern Archives Science

The influence of western archives science effects on Chinese modern archives science mainly reflected in four aspects: archives definition, archives administrative,archives management method problem and archival education.Chinese Modern domestic scholars introduced of archives definition of western archives science,not only divided boundaries between documents and archives to a certain extent, but also adding the integrity of archives definition.The problem of archives administration is divided into the arrangement of archives management organizations,archives management system and archives personnel system.Under the effect of administrative efficiency activities,the administrative circles,historiography circles and archival circles committed to the research of archival science,attempted to improve the archives management and personnel system.Unfortunately, Chinese haven’t form the true sense of the archives, unable to carry forward the western archives science core theory.Archives management method includes archives classification, cataloguing of archives, keeping records and reading.Chinese modern archival science influenced by Western archival science greatly, especially the library classification effect on archives classification. Although they referred to western archives science fonds principle, but have no exact fonds finishing scientific principles. Fu Zhenlun and Yin Zhongqi had put forward that the Europe and United States set up exhibition room or reading room,this advise have the effect on open utilization of information resource.Archival education mainly related to two schools, private Wuchang Wenhua library college and Chongqing private Chongshi archival correspondence school. These two schools adopted Western archival material as part of the teachingmaterials directly, what’s more,they employed foreign teachers. Archival specialized college teachers and students proposed concept of archives consistent with western countries, it showed that the Chinese archival education affect the Chinese archival undertaking by changing the structure of knowledge China archivists indirectly.
