Tacit knowledge is considered to be the core strength of innovation and development, and is the basis for enterprises to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage.With the progress of economic globalization, the establishment of strategic alliances has become an inevitable choice along with development and growth process of a company,and one of the motivations of this alliance is to hope to get the tacit knowledge from the other side through the cooperation. Strategic alliance brings all talents and top technologies to together,and a collaborator has a better chance to obtain useful tacit knowledge from the alliance.This paper further analysis the features of tacit knowledge and the meanings of explicit in a strategic alliance after learning respectively meanings, features and classifications of tacit knowledge and strategic alliance. Deeply analysis and summarize the obstacles and risk factors that hinder tacit knowledge to explicit in the strategic alliance, and we got measures for promoting tacit knowledge to explicit from the levels of a enterprise and a strategic alliance,and found ways to avoid risks of transformation.Especially according to analysis the knowledge transformation model that previous proposed,there is getting a explicit model of tacit knowledge in a enterprise strategic alliance that established by three companies.And detail analysis the modules of acquisition,conveyed, sharing, innovation,integration and internalization for tacit knowledge.Finally,we analysis deeply the transformation and management of a strategic alliance in a case,and get something important enlightenment.
