With the rapid development and wide application of computer technology, network technology, a new teaching system (intelligent tutoring system, ITS) is developing rapidly. The application of ITS in the field of education is not only to provide people with convenient learning opportunities, rich teaching resources and excellent teaching environment, which makes people learn more autonomy and individuality, but also to change the traditional education mode of education, educational philosophy and teaching methods. The research ultimate goal is the computer system as the assistant and guider of the learners, which endow the computer intelligence, computer system to replace human teachers to a certain extent, so as to achieve the best teaching. Intelligent tutoring system provides an important technical foundation for the construction of a learning society, and has huge development potential and broad application prospect.In recent years, the research of ITS has been combined with the game, and how to develop not only can let the learner in the entertainment at the same time but also can master the skill has become the focus of education research. But serious game is a game which teaches the knowledge and skills, provides professional training and simulation as the main content, and spreads broadly with the features of entertainment, immersive, interactive. Serious games have advantages over the common learning environment:provides a simulation of the real world for the learners, and mobilizes the learners’ motivation and interest in learning to a greater extent. Therefore, combined with the development of ITS and serious games has received the attention of educators.However, with the interaction and immersion of virtual environment’s complex structure, and the mechanism of ITS combined with serious games, resulting in reduced scalability and availability of ITS. Therefore, scalability and practicality is the key to improve the problem of the development of ITS. On the other hand, a lot of ITSs are to provide personalized service in teaching, according to the learner’s behavior and habits, but ignore the learning ability of learning the knowledge, ability, so as to make the ITS recommended learning content to learners, resulting in the learners’ cognitive overload lost in learning. Therefore, the optimization of the learning content recommendation and teaching strategy has become the core problem of ITS s to a truly intelligent. At last,The paper mainly discusses the intelligent tutoring system’s learning content recommendation and optimizing selection of the teaching strategies in 3D virtual scene. This thesis focuses on the following aspects of work:(1)Reducing the boring of online education at the present stage and increasing the interest of ITS. The paper combines the serious game into the learning tasks to achieve the target which the learner can learn in the entertainment.(2)Improving the scalability and practically of ITS. The paper proposes the 3D scene based on Delta3D game engine can be easily combined with other game engine to set more complex environment.(3) Improving the intelligence of ITS. According to the problems existing at the present stage of the ITS, the paper puts forward virtual teacher based on BDI to realize the different teaching strategies for different learners. In order to achieve the principle of increasing learning levels from easy to difficult which this paper advocates, introduces the ontology knowledge representation method to represent the relationship between concept and others in the learning content.(4) Design and implementation of virtual intelligent teaching system. In order to realize virtual intelligent teaching system’s interest, expansibility, practicality and intelligence, the paper based on the Delta3D game engine, adds the game module, using BDI model Tutor Agent and introduces knowledge representation method to realize the learning content hierarchy division to degree. Finally, realizes the objective of complete the task of learning in fun that the learning content is based on the learning ability of intelligent recommendation.
