The Application Research Of Personalized Recommendation Technology In Graduation Project Selection System

At present, the current graduation project selection methods of our university mainly has two disadvantages: One is that students cannot fairly compete in the process of selecting project. The other is that students can take the initiative to select projects of teachers, but teachers cannot take the initiative to select appropriate students. This traditional selection methods have some shortcomings on fairness and rationality.Due to the short time of selecting, students need to select from a lot of projects in a short time, so it will produce a certain blindness. Therefore, if the personalized recommendation technology is applied to graduation project selection method to recommend projects for students in which they are interested, it can effectively reduce the blindness of selecting project and improve the efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an undergraduate graduation project selection system combines with the personalized recommendation technology to improve. Firstly, the dissertation analyzes the key technology of achieving system functions. Secondly, combined with the work status and actual demand of graduation project selection of our university, the dissertation focuses on the content-based graduation project recommendation algorithm. Finally, according to the ideas of software engineering and development methods of management information systems, the dissertation analyzes and designs the functional modules of graduation project selection system. The main functional modules include: the user login module, the basic data management module, the personal information module, the project selection module, the system configuration module, the personalized project recommendation module and so on.The system has been used by several academies, so the fact has proved that the system has good reliability and availability. To some extent, the system has improved the fairness and rationality of graduation project selection with a high value.
