Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, the Internet and information technology has made great progress. Every trade is using a computer system to improve management efficiency of enterprises or institutions. Most of the online banking payment system are designed for large enterprises or for individual users instead of paying attention to the middle group, such as the indispensable small and medium sized business and individual merchants’ businesses. Therefore, a new-type of business management system should be intended to solve this problem and filling technological gap.Design and development of China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd business management system is aimed at establishing an online trading platform for electronic payments, which is responsible for the daily business management work for small and medium sized business and individual merchants. Introduction phase, functional requirements elicitation and analysis phase, the system design phase, the system implementation phase describe the whole process of design and development. The system uses MVC-based application framework. JavaServlet and JSP technology are applied to build a WEB application. The presentation layer is built by the Struts framework. Business logic layer is built by Spring framework and business persistence layer is built by the Hibernate framework.System administrators, small and medium sized merchants and individual merchants are involved in the China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. business management system. In order to fulfil three types of users’ needs, Orders management, billing management, product management and system management functions are realized to ensure the integrity of the system functionality. Order management function covers order management functions, Order entry, order inquiries, order items detail query, order revocation and orders refunding. Billing management function includes settlement summary queries and downloading billing’s details checks. Merchandise management function covers commercial property definition, commodity inquiry and commodity modification. System management function includes operator password changing, business information querying and operator definition.In order to ensure system’s the superiority of performance after running, China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. business management system carries out a detailed and comprehensive system testing when the development is done. The implementation of the system plays an important role in China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. business management system which helps China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. and merchants achieve significant economic benefits.
