General packet radio service GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) makes the mobile communication and data network Become IP business, it will introduce more mobile and wide market, also make the mobile network can provide more value-added services.Radio frequency B band (200MHz---500 MHz), the application in civil field gradually on the rise, in line with the very good development space and application prospect of micro power wireless module and B band antenna design provisions of state radio committee.With the implementation and popularization of smart home and smart city public utilities closely related to people’s livelihood, wisdom is facing a period of rapid development, especially the automatic meter reading system, namely AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system, strongly supported by the national policies, which based on the data acquisition terminal of the wireless network will be one of the key security AMR system implementation. While the AMR data transmission system based on wireless network is an important part of smart home and smart city.This paper firstly introduces the concept of wireless network and AMR system, then describes the GPRS network and the key technologies for micro power wireless network transmission of AMR data, the focus of the overall design, module design, the software design of AMR wireless network data transmission system based on GPRS and B band, the realization of the AMR data acquisition and transmission system based on wireless network, and applied to the scene. The practical results show that, the AMR system data transmission accurate, reliable, good stability.The main work in this paper is:(1) introduces the characteristics of GPRS network and AMR system concept. The GPRS network and the key technologies for micro power wireless network transmission of AMR data described.(2) micro power wireless technology based on B, the band 433 MHz micropower wireless module and antenna design, realizes the wireless transmission of data acquisition terminal-collector.(3) based on wireless communication technology, the design and implementation of data acquisition terminal-concentrator 900Mhz/1800Mhz based on GPRS/SMS data communication.(4) to adapt to different application environment, the design and implementation of wireless data monitoring terminal.(5) in order to adapt to the scene and complicated application environment, network communication failures to improve the utility of remote meter reading system, the design and implementation of data acquisition terminal 10 level forwarding mechanism, realized wireless data water meter, gas meter, heat meter centralized meter reading.(6) a list of examples of the use of excerpts.
