Abstract/Summary:
This paper focuses on developing the key platform control technology after summarizing state-of-the-art of aerial work platform around the world. Taking GTBZ30 of Jingcheng Heavy Industry Company as an example, the paper has analyzed the key control point, designed the hardware control circuit, operating boxes and software control system, improved the system in the sample vehicle, and then the aim of vehicle control was achieved. Works include the following aspects:(1) The vehicle structure and hydraulic system of JCH1C GTBZ30 aerial work platform are analyzed. The vehicle is composed of 3 parts including chassis, turntable and fence. Combining with hydraulic system, the control demand is analyzed, and the solenoid valve action table is obtained according to hydraulic control.(2) The control system hardware is designed. The peripheral hardware circuit is adopted with two EPEC2024 controllers and one EPEC2023 controller. According to the principle of distributed control and less complex wiring, the control ports are allocated and operating panel is designed.(3) The vehicle software is developed. The CAN-BUS communication is selected between controllers, and the program is coded by Codesys programming platform to collect the input data, and the output of valve block is controlled by logical operation. At last, the flow charts and the programming are completed.(4) Some practical issues in the debugging process are solved. In practical application of GTBZ30, the engine is not easy to start, and the boom vibrated when it’s going down. After analyzing the reasons, such issues are tackled properly.
