Design And Implementation Of Haidong Rural Road Maintenance Management Information System

Rural highways are important components of rural highway networks in urban and rural areas, which are the basic facilities and assurance for the development of rural economy. The construction of rural highways plays a key role in rural poverty alleviation, agricultural development and the improvement of people’s life. At present, in Haidong Prefecture, the rural highway maintenance materials transform from the sand and dirt to the asphalt and concrete. In order to adapt to the transformation of highway maintenance, it is necessary to establish a information management system which can meet the demands of the new type of rural highway maintenance, to provide timely, scientific and efficient highway information for the government-related work.Through the analysis of the existing problems in the process of rural highway maintenance and management in the urban and rural areas of west China, combined with the specific maintenance business process, this research utilizes the WEB technology and designs the management information system of rural highway maintenance in Haidong Prefecture based on B/S structure. In the system, user management module, business management module, material management module, and some other modules are developed, and the basic functions of rural highway maintenance management information system are realized. Firstly, through the current situation of studies at home and abroad as well as the technical analysis, the main technology of the research is established. Secondly, on the basis of the analysis of the rural highway maintenance work in Haidong Prefecture, the practical normalized business process and the demand analysis are determined, and the main modules of the system are confirmed as three parts:user module, business module and material module. The database development platform depends on.NET technology and SQL Server 2005. This research makes detailed design of the three modules based on B/S system model, to implement the system interface and various functions.The management system designed in the research provides a information platform with timeliness for rural highways. The system contains basic files and data, maintenance business, management of maintenance materials, and other functions, and through the test run, all the functions can completely meet the requirements of business process proposed by the users. The operation of the system is stable and reliable, in accordance with the use standards of users. The system can greatly improve the level of the rural highway maintenance management in Haidong Prefecture, and promote the development of regional economy.
