Media reports way, angles, content and so on to a great extent determine political figures in the facet of the audience. Mr Putin, since he became Russia’s President for the third time the world mainstream media coverage is compared with the previous present a bigger difference.In People’s Daily and the Washington post is one of the main media in China and the United States, the two have their own political position, there were significant differences in the reports of vladimir putin, the People’s Daily in the leader, vladimir putin, Russia’s most suitable candidate, in the description of the Washington post is a very authoritarian rulers and destroyer of peace.In this context, the author selected nearly three years (May 2012 to December 31,2014), the People’s Daily and the Washington post reports about Mr Putin for its media image contrast analysis.
