In2009, the15th United Nations World Climate Conferencebe was held in Copenhagen,it was dubbed the most important meeting since the second world war,. After that meeting, the frequent reports of World Climate Conference issues begin to show in national media. Cause the differences among political system, economic development level, and cultural background, The Washington Post and People’s Daily must have inevitably differences about their News Frame.This article take the coverage of World Climate Conference from2009-2013by The Washington Post and People’s Daily for example, using News Frame Theory and Critical Linguistics Theory, combinineing qualitative study research with quantitative study research, for exploreing reports of the similarities and differences in those two media, and puts forward the causes of these differences. At the same time, the analysis also puts forward to People’s Daily and other Chinese media to draw lessons from successful experience of The Washington Post.The study found that:first of all,The Washington Post tend to give priority to with political and economic issues, other issues also be balanced..However,People’s Daily tend to define the issue as a single political issue; Second, The Washington Post tend to use conflict and negtive frame, People’s Daily tend to use postive and propaganda frame. Third,The Washington Post tend to use emore subtle ways to covey their thought, make its news objectivity stronger.In a word, for mastering objectivity and tendentiousness,The Washington Post is more clever and obscure.
