Since the end of last century, quantum dot photodetectors (QDP) have developed rapidly. In this paper, we researched the photoelectric characteristic and readout of the InGaAs QDP with high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and excellent storage characteristics. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the storage of photo-generated charge between two stages QDP have been verified by Experiment.Secondly, the photovoltaic response of 1×64 quantum dot photodetectors array has been tested.At last, a cryogenic readout circuit has been tested. The readout circuit chip has been verified can work at 45K by using liquid helium as refrigerant.
