Private College Student Information Management System

With the rapid development of education informatization in China, the scale of private colleges have taken a quantum leap and the number of college students is on the increase. Owing to this, college students information is becoming harder to manage, and the traditional management mode has not adapted to the situation.At present, although there are some students management systems for colleges on the market, but them can not conform to the business process requirements of private colleges. By redeveloping these systems, we may solve the problem. yet it is too difficult to accomplish the task. Therefore, it is necessary that students information management system is developed to be suitable for private university.Based on the analysis of the demand for information management of private colleges, adopting the ideas of workflow technology, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) technology, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) ect, students information management system for the business requirements of private college is designed and achieved.When designing and developing the system, we have taked the JAVA EE platform and SSH framework. SSH framework is excellent decoupling framework, through which can develop the extensibility and portability of the software system. Since the business process of the system must to be dealed with by trans-department collaborative, and must to be dealed with by human-computer interaction, so we take the workflow technology to realize automatization collaborative work. Because of the traditional workflow technology can’t hide the implementation details, so it is difficult to be extend. To solve the problem ,we take the service-oriented architecture (SOA). it not only be able to reduce the coupling of the processes, but also be able to enhance the flexibility of the processes, and easy to maintenance later. Because private colleges liquidity faster, so the system is difficult to authorized, we taked the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). it introduces the role, assign roles to users, given permissions to roles. Users may obtain the permissions by the roles to greatly simplifies the authorization.After tested, the system can meet the development needs. It is easy to be operated for users, improves the management efficiency, and reduces the labour cost.
