The Research And Implementation Of Workflow Management System Based On WEB

With the rapid development in computer and network fields,, the modern enterprise information systems have shown some new trend: the resources are deployed on a computer environment with different platforms, the connection between information resources are loosely. In such environment, the related tasks are executed at speed and we can monitor the running tasks. The background the WMS's change from the C/S architecture to web-based, Browser/Server distributed architecture.This article's research based on a project, the aim is that developing a universal Workflow Management System based on Web. The author's main workings are given as follows:1. In this paper, I put forward a kind of web-based WMS. The clients use the uniform browser. At the server side, J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) was adopted Web-based WMS is distributed, has the uniform UI accessible from anywhere and is reliable.2. This article puts forward the idea of user-defined workflow, and brings forward the development and design of the user-defined workflow management system. When the changes of the structure and business process are occurred, the old IPS will not content with the office demand of a department whose structure has been changed. We take into account the future expansibility of system function, namely, if the office and business process can been defined, the above problems will be readily solved.3. We implement this mode through the component technology of EJB-CMP/CMR in J2EE platform. Through importing group, we can sort different users who own a same role into a group and award right to this group instead of different users each, so it lessens the workload.4. We develop a universal Workflow Management System based on core technologies of WMS, and introduce the adopted structure of this scheme and implement mechanism in detail. We realize this system, it provides efficient technology support for IPS in project.
