Our country issued the twelfth five-year Guideline, in which our government propose to emphasis the statue of the cultural industry and make it become mainstay industry in our capital economy system. The publishing industry is an important part of cultural industry, especially publishing companies on the capital market in recent years, with the power of capital to seek the transformation and upgrading, facing standing at a new historical starting point to achieve leapfrog development opportunities.Financial analysis, namely financial statement analysis, with the purpose of transformation financial statement data into useful and available information, can assist client to improve and perfect his decision. Based on Harvard Framework for enterprise financial analysis, financial analysis update the perspective of traditional financial analysis to the height of strategic analysis, strategic analysis and the combination of traditional financial analysis, combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, for the enterprise to make scientific predictions about the future.The thesis, divided into five chapters, select SPM Company as research object.The first chapter is introduction, mainly introducing the background and significance of the thesis.The second chapter is largely about the overview of involved theories. Based on comparison and analysis between traditional and modern financial analysis methods, the thesis focuses on statement of Harvard analysis framework and the method of strategic analysis.It follows that the background of SPM Company and related information will be released in the third chapter. Though introduction of background of SPM, the thesis set to analysis overall strategic environment about the whole publishing corporation, the duty and mission of publishing corporation, survival cycle analysis, strategic environment, tools of Porter’s 5 Forces Model analysis, the value of the publishing enterprise etc.The fourth chapter is the SPM Company accounting and financial analysis. Accounting analysis, by comparing the SPM listed company with publishing industry enterprise group, the key to the analysis of the publishing industry accounting policies and accounting estimates. Financial analysis includes trend analysis, structure analysis, ratio analysis and cash flow analysis, evaluation of SPM company history and the current operating performance, management efficiency, to assess the company’s sustainable development.The fifth chapter is about the prospect analysis, including strategic prediction and risk prediction. This chapter is a comprehensive analysis on SPM Company strategy, on the basis of accounting policies and financial data to make scientific prediction.The final chapter is conclusion.
